Keeping on keeping on.
Some things are peeping out of the soil, like these peas and lettuce shoots.

We have blossom on the pear trees - very uplifting!

We got rid of some messy dead-looking stuff from the walls.

And planted a new clematis.

But - yikes. I am running out of things I can do in the garden that don't involve buying new plants. I may have mentioned the eye-watering expense of this, and given that we're in lockdown I can hardly go around tapping up my friends and neighbours for cuttings.
What to do?
Need cuttings? Dare I say it but late at night, in a a waning moon when all is dark, sneak around the village (or beyond) at night and snip some cuttings?! In Memphis at Graceland people did it all the time, just to have something from Elvis’ garden. I mean, a gardener’s got to do, what a gardener’s got to do. 😊
